The company wishes to evaluate a qualified DATA SCIENTIST, who satisfy the different requirements, in term of curriculum, knowledge and skills:
We are looking for motivated Data Scientist to work in a challenging and exciting environment within the team. We are looking for candidates with a track record of University Research, delivering innovative solutions that have a real impact, whilst working collaboratively with others to ensure the right analytical/statistical solution is delivered in an effective and efficient way. You will have the opportunity to further embed an evidence-based approach within the company and influence people and business-related decision making.
The role will include ensuring analytical methods transform findings to insightful actions and drive real improvements. You will lead projects independently and work as part of larger teams consisting of data scientists and analysts.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will be tailored to reflect your strengths and development needs, but you will also contribute to:

The vision for data science and/or analytics

Working with analytical colleagues, you will bridge the gap between analysis and insights, finding effective ways to explain findings with context, to drive action and deliver business outcomes

The team’s awareness of the wider data science landscape and emerging technologies
-
Drive up knowledge and build capability in the team and more widely, employing a broad range of analytical methods, techniques and approaches to enhance the maturity of analytical findings produced
-
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and an aptitude for interpreting and disseminating analytical findings.

Experience of coding in at least one statistical/mathematical package or programme.

Experience of communicating insights with a range of executive and non-executive stakeholders
-
An adaptable team player, with experience of working collaboratively and confidently with others yet is comfortable using initiative when working alone
DESIDERABLE SKILLS
-
Phd in Data Science or similar
-
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
-
Excellent knowledge of the software development cycle
-
Excellent knowledge of the main machine learning algorithms
-
Excellent knowledge of model validation techniques
-
Excellent knowledge of the Python programming language
-
Good working knowledge of at least one Python framework for machine learning (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)

Experience in implementing deep learning-based algorithms for the analysis of unstructured data (text, images, video)

Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
-
Experience of R programming.
Residence in Varese o availabilty to relocate in the norh of Lombardia (Italy)
