Our client is a prestigious multinational corporation known for providing highly specialized professionalism and expertise in many sectors. It is spread over several locations worldwide, from where specific international projects are supported.
It planned to insert some professional profiles necessary to deal with new international projects.

The company wishes to evaluate qualified candidates in the role below:

 

GIS / GEOINT Analyst

Knowledge and Skills

 

• Expertise in designing and producing digital maps with geographic data.

• Expertise in geo-data management.

• Experience in analysing, discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data.

• Producing maps showing the spatial distribution from various source of

information.

• Design, create and maintain geoprocessing tools·

• Working knowledge of GIS software and analysis tools including ESRI’s ArcGIS platform.

• Working knowledge in operational GEOINT exploitation processes, policies and production cycles.

• Working knowledge in GEOINT collection, as well as the fundamental methodologies of Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) or Advanced GEOINT (AGI).

 

Typical tasks and responsibilities

• Support on daily general GIS tasks.

• Respond to GIS maps and cartographic products requests from Frontex business units within accepted deadlines·

• Creation and implementation of map templates based on stakeholders inputs.

• Creation and validation of geospatial data by means of geographic workflow process and tools.

• Provide geospatial analysis (GEOINT) based on geographic tools and process.

• Design and implement geospatial intelligence dashboards

• Creation of geo-tools and scripts based on model builder or other technology·

• Definition and design of geographic dictionaries and taxonomies

• Customization of out-of-box GIS solutions or prototypes that meets the clients need

• Participation in meetings with the project teams.

Duration: For at least 2 years
English language: Minimum level C1

 

Bachelor or Master's Degree (Geoscience / Geospatial Information Sciences / Earth Science / Exploration and Environmental Geosciences, and similar)

Minimum specific work experience: 2-5 years (depending on the role)

All role specifics, will be explored in depth at the interview stage depending on the position most in line with experience.
The contract is for two years, in the form of a freelancer assigned to a long-term project, with the possibility of extension.
